Just when you think you’ve seen it all, along comes something else that drops your jaw past the point of no return.

Earlier I came across a CNET article that told the story of a North Dakota parking ticket hoax. The ticket directed the recipient to a malicious website, eventually installing a virus on the host computer. The target: hybrid cars. Strange eh?

Apparently the virus is embedded in a toolbar that the user is prompted to download. Go figure. Then again if it were me, I would be a bit suspicious…

The virus, identified as the Vundo Trojan virus was originally posted on McAfee’s Avert Labs Blog earlier this morning.
